Remote Workplace Philosophy

Every member of our team, from executive consultants to project specialists, works from a remote environment designed for focus, flexibility, and performance. This structure allows us to attract exceptional talent, operate efficiently across time zones, and dedicate our resources to delivering results rather than maintaining physical office overhead.

Our Remote Workplace Policy establishes clear standards for communication, data security, and performance. Team members are expected to maintain professional workspaces, safeguard client and company information, and adhere to consistent availability and responsiveness. We measure success by outcomes, not by hours online — ensuring that our consultants enjoy autonomy while meeting the highest standards of service and integrity.

At CDF Partners, remote work is not a convenience; it’s a strategic advantage.
It allows us to operate seamlessly across industries and geographies, engaging with clients in hospitality, staffing, insurance, and alternative risk management wherever they are.
Through structure, transparency, and trust, we’ve built a model that empowers our people and strengthens our partnerships. 1. Purpose

This policy establishes the guidelines, expectations, and responsibilities for remote work at CDF Partners. Because our company operates fully remotely, this policy ensures consistency, accountability, and compliance while supporting flexibility and work-life balance. 

2. Scope

 This policy applies to all employees and contractors working from remote locations, including home offices, co-working spaces, or other approved environments within their country or region of residence. 

3. Guiding Principles

 CDF Partners operates on trust, professionalism, and results. Remote work is a privilege tied to accountability and adherence to company standards for performance, communication, and data security. 

4. General Expectations

 

All remote workers must:

  • Maintain regular working hours that align with business needs and project requirements. 
  • Be accessible via phone, email, and internal communication tools (e.g., Zoom, Slack, or Teams) during scheduled hours. 
  • Attend all required virtual meetings and respond to messages within a reasonable timeframe. 
  • Create and maintain a dedicated, safe, and professional workspace that supports confidentiality and productivity. 
  • Present a professional image in all client communications and video meetings.

5. Working Hours & Availability

 

  • Standard operating hours are 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time, unless otherwise agreed upon. 
  • Flexible schedules are permitted with supervisor approval, provided work outcomes and availability for team meetings are not impacted. 
  • Employees are expected to report time accurately for project tracking and billing purposes (if applicable).

6. Equipment & Technology

  

  • CDF Partners may provide company-issued hardware, licensed software, and secure system access credentials as needed. 
  • Employees are responsible for maintaining their equipment in working order and reporting any malfunctions immediately. 
  • Personal devices used for work must meet company security standards (see Section 7). 
  • The company reserves the right to install monitoring or remote-wipe capabilities on devices accessing company data.

7. Data Security & Confidentiality

We provide comprehensive project management services to help you achieve your goals on time and within budget. Our team will work with you to develop a project plan, identify risks, and manage resources to ensure successful project delivery. 


Because CDF Partners engages in sensitive consulting work, strict adherence to data protection protocols is required.


All remote employees must:

  • Use company-approved cloud platforms and secure file-sharing systems. 
  • Protect client and company data through encryption, password protection, and MFA (multi-factor authentication). 
  • Avoid public Wi-Fi networks for work activities unless connected via a company-approved VPN. 
  • Never download, print, or share confidential information without explicit authorization. 
  • Report any suspected data breach or unauthorized access immediately to management.
     

Violation of this section may result in disciplinary action or termination.

8. Communication & Collaboration


  • Use professional, company-approved communication tools for all business discussions. 
  • Maintain consistent calendar updates to show availability. 
  • Attend scheduled check-ins, client calls, and project reviews. 
  • Keep communication clear, concise, and professional at all times.

9. Performance & Accountability

Performance will be measured based on deliverables, responsiveness, and contribution to team objectives — not hours logged.


Supervisors will review productivity, client feedback, and project outcomes regularly. 

10. Health, Safety, & Ergonomics

Each employee is responsible for ensuring their remote workspace is safe, ergonomic, and free from hazards.


CDF Partners encourages regular breaks, healthy posture, and a professional environment free from distractions during work hours. 

11. Confidentiality & Representation

 Remote employees represent CDF Partners in all professional interactions.
They must:

  • Maintain discretion in conversations regarding clients or internal matters. 
  • Avoid discussing proprietary information in public or unsecured environments. 
  • Use the company’s branding, email signatures, and communications standards consistently.

12. Travel & In-Person Meetings

 While CDF Partners operates remotely, occasional travel or client site visits may be required.


Travel will be communicated in advance, and expenses reimbursed in accordance with the company’s Travel & Expense Policy. 

13. Policy Compliance

We offer comprehensive financial planning services to help you achieve financial stability and long-term success.


Violation of this policy, especially regarding data protection, confidentiality, or communication standards, may result in corrective action, including termination of employment or contract. 

14. Acknowledgment

 All employees must sign the Remote Work Agreement Acknowledgment Form confirming they have read, understood, and agreed to comply with this policy.
